WHERE HEAVEN MEETS REALITY! This old world farmhouse is surrounded by 6500 m2 of excellent gardening land. Start your own vegetable garden and supply the whole of Greylingstad with your fresh produce. The house is enormous with humongous bedrooms. Step onto the well preserved wooden floors in the entrance hall. Walk down the passage into the house with it's old world pressed ceilings and original fireplaces in the 2 Lounges. The dining room will easily seat a 12 seater suite. The 2 bathrooms are modernly tiled with baths and showers. The kitchen gives you the old farm house feel with its size, walk in pantry, separate scullery with ample packing space and clean up areas. The entertainment area has a look out over the railway yard, open fields and mountains. With extra rooms and 2 sml houses on the property, this makes for a fantatstic boarding house or single quarters for the workers on the mines. Do not miss this awesome investment opportunity.

Vicinity:

GREYLINGSTAD: In the 1950s and 1960s the town had a flourishing farming Community, which was severely compromised when the main road between Johannesburg and Durban was upgraded and a bypass was built around Greylingstad - causing small businesses in town to lose a lot of customers. Greylingstad does, however, have a rich history: During the Boer War, the Scottish Rifles built a number of small forts overlooking the town and the farms beyond the hills. The Scottish Rifles laid out the initials "SR" on the hill overlooking the town, and it was always clearly visible from the main street of Greylingstad. If you climb the steep kopjie you will enter a unique portal into the past - the ruins of a British Army fortified campsite that was built and occupied between July 1900 and June 1902. The fortifications, gun pits, tent lines, stables and even the parade ground are in pristine condition - only the tents, equipment and soldiers are missing.
